A study done by the SPIN agencydirected by Luis Estrada, -who since the beginning of the government of President López Obrador has analyzed his morning conferences- indicates that those who sit in the first row they have a 53% chance of questioning, while those who sit in the second row have a 23% chance of questioning the Federal President.
The Presidency’s spokesperson explained that to draw for the desired places, there will be six ballot boxes according to the media classification: television, multimedia (including agencies), radio, social networks, written press (newspapers and magazines) and digital.
This is how AMLO’s morning raffle will work
At 06:00 to 06:25, the representatives of the media who have entered National Palace they will put their name in the ballot box corresponding to their type of media.
At 06:30 hours the places will be drawn and the first name of each category will occupy the first row, the second, the next row and the last, the third.
“In the first two rows there are seven chairs and in the third six. Every day there will be random designation of the places of each type of media, as has been done until now”.
Social Communication informed that the seventh seat of the first two rows will be raffled according to the type of media that has the most representatives until 06:30.
“For example, if there are more representatives of digital media o newspapers, two places of this type of medium will be raffled to occupy the first or second row. In the third, only the six places of each type of media will be raffled.
It is reported that a new draw will be held daily and the media that have asked the previous day will not be able to participate in the draw the following day, so they must occupy a place from the fourth row to give opportunity to new communicators of make use of the word.
“In the event that they have not had the opportunity to ask, they will be able to participate once more in the draw the next day.”
It is clarified that the designation of places does not guarantee that the use of the voice will be granted and this will continue to depend on the designation made daily by the president Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador.
