The Mexican Institute of Social Security (IMSS) in Chihuahua reported on the benefits of “Family Health Insurance”, which is a social security scheme through which medical services are offered to families that lack them.
The head of the Affiliation and Collection Services Headquarters, Jorge Oscar Carrillo Ronquillo, stated that the above is for all those people who lack any medical benefit.
He stressed that among the benefits that the Institute provides with this scheme, is medical, hospital, surgical, pharmaceutical and maternity care.
Carrillo Ronquillo explained that this insurance must be purchased by at least two people who are relatives; and indicated that the cost depends on the age of each person, which will be paid annually in advance and only includes medical service; that is, it is not to contribute weeks for the granting of a pension.
