The water service was affected yesterday in a large sector of Neuquén capital after the rupture of an aqueduct. The Provincial Water and Sanitation Entity (EPAS)explained that the breakdown occurred during the work of a private company that operated on the Duran Creek. This Wednesday morning, the provincial body reported the situation in the affected neighborhoods.

The broken pipe was the Leguizamón aqueduct and as detailed, it affected the residents of the neighborhoods Limay and Rio Grande. From the EPAS they informed this medium that at 11:28 p.m. the repair was completed and that “in the early hours of the morning the service was restored.”

“EPAS reports that at noon this Tuesday, a company outside the Agency that was carrying out work on the Durán stream, caused the Leguizamón aqueduct to break” explained yesterday the provincial entity.

Un technical-operative team from the same company who caused the inconvenience worked on site. The tasks were supervised by EPAS personnel.
