From Wednesday, May 1, citizens have the possibility to pay their road tax by the month.
The amount to be paid depends on the months the owners choose to drive the vehicle. For one month they will pay 1/12 of traffic fees, for two months on 2/12, for 3 months on 3/12, for 4 months on 4/12 and so on.
The right to lift immobility is granted only once in a year, and when the driving period for which proportional road charges have been paid expires, the vehicle will have to be digitally immobilized immediately, otherwise it will be asked to pay heavy fines.
The process
The interested owners of I.X. they should apply on its dedicated platform AADEmyCar, using the TaxisNet codes, in which they will fill in their personal details and the details of the vehicle.
According to the protothema, following a previous automatic check, if the vehicle is insured, the request is submitted and then they will pay as many twelfths of the annual traffic fees as correspond to the months of immobilization.
So they will be able to put the plates back on their cars and drive them around.
In the event that, for example, a driver pays for two months of road tax, he should know that he can choose any period of time he wishes, to lift immobility.
