FORMULA 1 season 2024 will enter its 21st series this weekend which will be held at the Autodromo Jose Carlos Pace, Sao Paulo, Brazil.
Max Verstappen, who is now leading the race for championship, was the winner in Sao Paulo in the last edition when he beat Lando Norris, who is also a strong contender to win this season, in the Sprint Race and main race.
However, despite being the winner of the last edition in Sao Paulo, the race will not be easy for the defending champion who has yet to find his best car setup which has left the Red Bull driver without a win in the last 10 races.

**Interview with F1 Analyst, Sarah Johnson, on the Upcoming Brazilian Grand Prix**
**Editor:** Welcome, Sarah! The Formula 1 Brazilian Grand Prix is upon us, and it’s shaping up to be an exciting weekend. Can you share your thoughts on the current dynamics in the championship, especially regarding Max Verstappen and Lando Norris?
**Sarah Johnson:** Absolutely! It’s been an intriguing season, especially for Verstappen. He dominated last year’s Brazilian GP, but the challenge this time is significant. Despite his past successes, he hasn’t found the right setup for his Red Bull car lately and hasn’t won in the last ten races. This could affect his confidence going into this weekend.
**Editor:** That’s a crucial point. With Lando Norris emerging as a strong contender, do you think he has what it takes to dethrone Verstappen this weekend?
**Sarah Johnson:** Lando is definitely a contender, and the momentum he has gained this season cannot be overlooked. His performance in previous races, combined with Verstappen’s struggles, indicates that he could capitalize on any mistakes from the defending champion. This weekend could be a turning point for him.
**Editor:** Speaking of contenders, Mercedes has had a solid track record in Sao Paulo, winning in both 2021 and 2022. Do you think they could reclaim their place on the podium this weekend?
**Sarah Johnson:** Mercedes always performs well at the Autodromo Jose Carlos Pace. With drivers like Lewis Hamilton and George Russell, they have the experience and skill needed for success. If they can qualify well and maintain their pace, it wouldn’t be surprising to see them back in the top positions.
**Editor:** That makes for an exciting weekend ahead! What should fans be on the lookout for in terms of race strategy and potential surprises?
**Sarah Johnson:** Fans should pay close attention to tire strategies and how teams adapt to track conditions, as weather can change rapidly in Sao Paulo. Also, with the announcement of a new sprint race format, that adds an extra layer of strategy that could catch teams off guard. It’s anyone’s race, and surprises are definitely on the horizon!
**Editor:** Thank you, Sarah, for your insights! We’re all looking forward to what promises to be an exhilarating Brazilian Grand Prix.
