The Advisory Committee of the Patrinos Carnival 2025 was appointed after yesterday’s unanimous decision of the Board of Directors. of KEDIP-Carnival of Patras as part of its regular meeting.
The new Advisory Committee, which expands in terms of the number of members by 2 regular members but also during its term, becomes 13 members and its term will end on April 4, 2025. 8 alternate members were also appointed, while one of the regular members will is a coordinator. The Advisory Committee is represented by the Carnival Academy of Patras, the Carnival Committee of Patras, the Jury Committee of P.K. 2025, the crews of the P.K., thematic working groups of the P.K. 2025 (Hidden Treasure Game Theme Group, Grand Ceremonies Theme Group: Opening and Ending, Children’s Carnival Theme Group, Grand Parades Theme Group: Night Walker and Grand Parade, City Image Carnival Theme Group, Volunteer Coordination Theme Group, White Swan Theme Group).
Specifically, the following were appointed as regular members:
1. Vasia Papavasileiou (representative of the Carnival Academy, crew 16) with substitute member Benediktos Ranios (representative of the Carnival Academy, crew 49) following the response letter of the Carnival Academy to the President’s request for its representation in the Advisory Committee P.K.2025

**Vasia Papavasileiou:** The increase in members is a fantastic development! With a larger team, we can bring in diverse perspectives and ideas, which is crucial for planning an event as multifaceted as the carnival. Each member represents different aspects, from thematic groups to volunteer coordination, ensuring that every detail of the carnival is thoughtfully addressed.

**Vasia Papavasileiou:** Absolutely! I’ll be representing the Carnival Academy, and particularly, I’m excited about engaging in the Hidden Treasure Game Theme Group. This theme offers us a unique opportunity to involve attendees in interactive experiences. I’m also looking forward to collaborating with the other thematic groups, as the Grand Ceremonies and Children’s Carnival groups are essential to making the event inclusive and entertaining for all ages.

**Vasia Papavasileiou:** My main goal is to foster collaboration among the various groups and ensure we create a carnival that resonates with our audience while highlighting our rich traditions.
