BanesConecta 2024: This is how you can send and receive remittances +GUIDE

BanesConnect is a platform that allows sending and receiving remittances to Venezuela from any country. To do so, you only need an international Visa or Mastercard.

The tool will be available through the website 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. It is important to mention that the commission for each transaction is 4%, the amount will be charged to the issuer.

What is the amount per transaction?

It is possible to link up to three international cards. The maximum amount per transaction is $500 and the maximum daily amount is $1,000. Users can send between $4,000 and $8,500 per year.

Who can send or receive remittances through BanesConecta?

All people with an international Visa or Mastercard card can make financial transactions. As for the recipients, they must be natural persons, Banesco clients, and have an account in bolivars and active currencies. It is worth noting that the portal only requests the ID number of the person who will receive the funds.

How to send money through BanesConecta?

  • Initially, you must enter the platform through Banesco.com, click on the “Online Banking” tab and then on the “BanesConnect”, which is identified as “new”.
  • Access the platform. If you are a registered user, you must add your username and password or, failing that, “register.”
  • Next, you must link your card. To do this, use the “cards” tab, located on the left side of the screen. For this step, you will need the card number, the printed name, the security code, and the month and year of expiration of the card.
  • The system will then ask you for a micropayment to confirm your membership. The amount can be between 0 and 1 dollar. The amount will be refunded immediately upon completion of the registration.
  • Once affiliated, the user can carry out financial transactions. The “send money” button is intended for this.
  • The system will ask you to select the card from which you want to send the money, and the security code. Then, you must enter the beneficiary’s ID number, the amount in dollars, the concept and click “accept.”
  • Finally, the amount will be reflected in the beneficiary’s bolivar account at the official exchange rate of the Central Bank of Venezuela (BCV).
