In commemoration of the 450th anniversary of the city of Córdoba, this Wednesday a great military parade was held on the avenue from Hipólito Yrigoyen to Patio Olmos. The event began at 11, but all the preparations began earlier. Different communities, schools, bands and honor corps of the Armed Forces participated
As of this Tuesday morning, the fencing, placement of screens, flags and stands where the authorities of Córdoba were located began.

Around 10 in the morning on Wednesday, the different groups, communities and armed forces began to organize themselves in Plaza España. There was great joy and pride on the part of all the parade participants.
“My daughter participates in the parade, I am a retired provincial police officer. Seeing her today commemorating this event is a source of pride for me, ”said Carlos very emotionally with his family.
Before the start of the event there were long lines waiting for the free hot chocolate. Also, vendors of typical food such as cupcakes and alfajores appeared.

Despite the cold, there was a large number of families who came to enjoy with their children. For many children it was their first time in a military parade of this magnitude.
“We brought our grandchildren to witness this beautiful event. Today is precisely the birthday of their grandfather who was in the military, so it is very moving to be here today and transmit this culture to my children. They are very excited, ”Mirta exclaimed along with her grandchildren who waved the 10 shirt.
All the authorities of the province were present. Governor Martin Llarlora entered a military vehicle greeting all Cordoba.

“It’s very exciting to be here, this is the first time we’ve performed in such a big parade. We are nervous, but we know that we will do well. We play bugles, trumpets and drums.” Paula told with her classmates from the secondary school of the San Francisco Normal School.
People of all ages waved Argentine flags and t-shirts. The residents of Nueva Córdoba were not far behind, many enjoyed the event from their balconies.

At different times during the act, light blue and white confetti was thrown that decorated Hirigoyen Yrigoyen Avenue to the rhythm of drums. Both at the beginning and at the end of the parade, the military bands played Happy Birthday to the city of Córdoba.
