Municipal passes Malacateco and is third: This is how the Clausura 2024 table goes
The match at the El Trébol stadium was dominated by Municipal, which now takes the third place in the 2024 Clausura Tournament.

The set of CSD Municipal triumphed in its pending match valid for matchday 11 of the 2024 Clausura Tournament.
The team led by Argentine coach Sebastián Bini beat Deportivo Malacateco 3 goals to 0 on the field of the El Trébol stadium and displaced Cobán Imperial from third position, also assuming its classification to the final phase of the championship.
They were goals from Darwin Torres, José Morales and José Mena those who gave victory to the scarlet team that is going through a good streak of results.
In its last five games played, the team led by Sebastián Bini has accumulated four victories and one defeat.
With this Wednesday’s victory, Municipal enters fully into the fight to even become the leader of Clausura 2024 since it has three more games to play, while Antigua, Mixco and Cobán will only play two more dates.
The table is currently led by Antigua GFC with 29 points in 14 gamesfollowed by Deportivo Mixco with 26 units in the same fourteen games and now the podium closes it Municipal with 25 points.
Cobán Imperial is fourth with 25 as wellbut the goal difference is in favor of the scarlet team.
Communications is fifth with 22 points (it has three games pending). While Xinabajul, Malacateco and Deportivo Achuapa are currently closing the places that give tickets to the final phase.
