– A bit of a strange situation, because it happened so quickly. On Monday, after winning the home match, I went to talk to the president for a while. I knew he didn’t get along with Maciek Musiał [ówczesny trener – red.]. It was not only about the sports result, but also about the relationship between the president and the coach. He said he didn’t see any further cooperation and started exchanging names and calling. One of them refused, the second had a valid contract, the third did not reach an agreement financially… – the former Polish representative introduced the story.
– He was sitting there and said to me: “What category can you lead?” I replied that I would go to the second league, and he replied: “Well, you would take it temporarily. You would prepare them for KSZO.” I thought he was joking, but he wasn’t, Sławomir Peszko continued.
The former football player also revealed the plan for the match in Ostrowiec, which ended with a 1-0 victory for his players, but a video circulated on the Internet in which his team used “low pressing”, not attacking the rival team. – Since we conceded 14 goals, I really wanted to withdraw.
