Colombian television suffered an irreparable loss On January 5, 2020, with the departure of Daniel Rengifo, a young actor who, at just 26 years old, had won the hearts of viewers.
From an early age, Daniel showed talent for acting, which led him to participate in important television productions such as La gloria de Lucho, Tres Caínes, Sin senos sí hay paraíso, La prepago, and Tu vozmétrico. The uncertainty led Daniel to undergo medical tests that revealed a tumor that was lodged in his right frontal lobe, a disease that faced him with a battle against time. Despite the seriousness of the situation, Daniel decided not to give up and He underwent surgery in an attempt to remove the tumor and continued to work on acting.
For a couple of years, she continued in the entertainment industry. However, in 2016, complications returned, with symptoms including facial paralysis and partial vision loss, which further aggravated her condition. When illness limited his abilities to perform, Daniel found solace in music, releasing a song titled “I Need You Here.”
In late 2019, doctors detected that the cancer had metastasized, spreading to other parts of his brain. Despite medical efforts, on January 5, 2020, at a clinic in Cali, Daniel began to have difficulty breathing. At 2 a.m., After a struggle that lasted more than five years, the young actor died.
