“Bitter Christmas”, thus begins the statement that Milena López published in her Instagram storieswhere she details in great detail the horror that she lived with her husband and her father-in-law on the night of December 23 in their own house, where some hooded men entered to steal their most valuable belongings.
The barking of one of his dogs was the one that alerted López and his sentimental partner, who did not have time to take shelter or alert the authorities, since the thieves were already on them to tie them up while they stole jewelry, money and technological devices, and then leaving the residence meeting the presenter’s father-in-law, who was also threatened with a firearm, intimidating him not to call the authorities.
“Last night we lived the worst night of our lives. Yesterday at 7:30 pm we were in our room watching television, Rambo barked and suddenly three hooded men with knives entered. They tied us up and robbed us. They took some savings, our rings, the computer among other things. When my father-in-law came out, he saw them escaping and threatened him with a gun.”, says the first part of the statement.
The presenter also reported that all those affected, in addition to her, are fine, thanking life that her mother was not in the placeBecause she is very nervous and might have suffered a severe health loss due to this fact, the case is already in the hands of the competent authorities.
“I thank God they didn’t hurt us. Andrés, my father-in-law, Britta, Rambo and I are fine. I also give thanks because my mom had already traveled and she might have had a heart attack. Thanks to the National Police, because they were very diligent with our case and gave us all the necessary help. The case is already in your hands, ”adds Milena in her text.
Thousands of followers have sent messages of support and encouragement to the presenter, who also appreciates all the support they have given her in this difficult situation, one of the worst that can happen to someone and more so on these dates, where thinking is in meeting with relatives and celebrating the holidays, in which robberies or situations as difficult as this one would have no place.
