this is a set of metal sheets that need to be bent by yourself

InWin has released an innovative POC computer case. Unlike most conventional computer cases, which come pre-assembled, the new product from InWin must be completed by yourself. At the same time, the assembly process itself resembles folding a cardboard box.

The case is delivered in a flat cardboard box, inside which the owner is not expected to have an assembled structure, but a set of metal sheets 0.8 mm thick with marked fold lines.

InWin POC acquires its final form after bending the sheets in special places to create its volume. The manufacturer claims that the material is pliable and can withstand several cycles of flexion-extension.

Despite its compact dimensions when assembled, InWin POC allows the installation of very high performance computer components. For example, here you can install a standard size power supply (up to 160 mm long), a video card up to 3.5 slots thick, up to 346 mm long and up to 82 mm wide, as well as CPU coolers up to 142 mm high. In addition, the case provides one place for a 2.5-inch drive.

Separate space is allocated for the video card. This allows you to more efficiently remove heat from it, and also prevents it from additional heating from other PC components. The InWin POC package also includes a PCI-Express 4.0 riser adapter.

The owner is also invited to arrange ventilation for the POC case on his own. The metal sheet serving as the front panel has a set of symmetrical cuts. They can be bent to create additional flow of fresh case to the components.

The set of ports on the front panel of the novelty consists of one USB 3.2 Gen2x2 Type-C, two USB 3.2 Gen1 and one combined 3.5 audio output.

The assembled InWin POC case measures 256 x 278 x 423 mm and weighs 4 kg. In addition to the PCIe 4.0 riser adapter, the package includes a 120 mm InWin Luna AL120 cooling fan for the rear wall.

The company has priced the POC case at $95.00/€99.00. On sale, the novelty will be available in two color combinations – black-blue and yellow-green.
