European rail transport is set to undergo a major transformation with the introduction of Maglev technology, developed by IronLev. This progress is part of a global context where Japan and China have already demonstrated their leadership in this area. These pays (Country comes from the Latin pagus which designated a territorial and tribal subdivision of extent…) have set high standards with their Maglev trains, pushing the boundaries of vitesse (On distingue 🙂 and efficiency in the transport (Transportation is the act of carrying something, or someone, from one place to another, most…) railway.

However, it is in Europe that a landscape (Etymologically, landscape is the arrangement of features, characters, shapes of a…) innovative, marked by the emergence of the prototype of train (A train is a guided vehicle running on rails. A train is made up of…) Company-designed maglev Italian (Italian is the name commonly used for the rope used to operate a furler….) IronLev. Concretely, the technology (The word technology has two meanings in fact 🙂 Maglev relies on the levitation (Levitation is the act, for a being or an object, of moving or remaining in…) magnetic, eliminating the friction (Frictions are interactions which oppose the persistence of a relative movement between…) between the train and the rails, thus making it possible to achieve considerably increased speeds.

The innovative approach used by the IronLev company consists of using permanent magnets, leveraging existing rail infrastructure without the need for costly modifications, which makes it possible to envisage faster and more widespread adoption of Maglev technology on the continent.

During a demonstration in Veneto, the IronLev prototype reached a speed of 70 km/h on a stretch of two kilometers (The meter (symbol m, from the Greek metron, measurement) is the basic unit of length of the System…), without requiring modifications to existing rails. This success paves the way for the integration of Maglev technology into the vast rail network (A railway network is a collection of railway lines, stations and facilities…) European, without entailing prohibitive infrastructure costs.

In addition to its cost and speed benefits, IronLev’s Maglev train also offers a significant reduction in resistance and vibration, resulting in more comfortable and quieter rides. In addition, its use of a passive magnetic mechanism represents a less energy-consuming solution than traditional Maglev systems.

IronLev now plans to develop a more ambitious prototype, capable of carrying 20 tonnes and reaching speeds of 200 km/h. However, bringing this project to fruition will take several years.
