Alohomora is undoubtedly one of the most useful spells in Hogwarts Legacy. You can use it to crack any locked door in the game, provided you have upgraded the spell to the appropriate level. In order to do that, however, you have to find so-called demiguise statues, for whose hiding places you – you guessed it – have to pick a lock every time.
With a total of 33 Demiguise statues in the game, this task alone adds up to a lot of lockpicking. Not only can this be annoying, it can also be particularly difficult for people with motor disabilities. Luckily, there’s a way to bypass the minigame entirely.

Automatically solve Alohomora puzzle
The feature is a bit hidden as it is not in the Hogwarts Legacy accessibility settings. Instead, you can find them in the menu under the Settings tab under “Game” and then under “Difficulty Level”. Set the difficulty to “History”.when you are in front of a locked door.
Then in the Alohomora mini-game you get the option at the bottom right to have the puzzle solved automatically by pressing a button. Since the difficulty can be changed at any time in the game, you can easily switch back to the challenge of your choice followingwards. This is a bit cumbersome, but ensures that you don’t have to mess around with this mini-game unnecessarily.

Interesting for platinum hunters
To upgrade Alohomora to level 3, you actually only need 22 of the Demiguise statues. However, there is a trophy for getting all 33 together, so platinum collectors will have to do their quest anyway if they want all the trophies in Hogwarts Legacy.
Luckily, your chosen difficulty level doesn’t affect your trophies, so you can easily switch to story mode if you don’t feel like playing the Alohomora mini-game.
