New York manufacturer Master & Dynamic has announced a new audio headset capable of analyzing your brain waves to measure how you feel.

Master & Dynamic does not have the traditional image that we associate with medical research laboratories. However, the American manufacturer made an announcement that was surprising to say the least with a new wireless headset, the MW75-Neuro, announced this Tuesday.
As its name suggests, the Master & Dynamic MW75-Neuro in fact takes up the characteristics and design of the high-end MW75 headphones from the New York brand, but will add elements linked to the neural analysis of the user. To do this, the manufacturer has teamed up with the company Neurable, specialized in the integration of nerve signal analyzes into consumer products, as reported by the site Gizmodo.
Concretely, the headset integrates a direct neural interface (BCI) to analyze electrical signals from the brain in order to identify the user’s state of mind. Enough to automatically adjust the functionalities offered by the headphones and the settings to best adjust to the listener’s level of stress or relaxation, as indicated by Master & Dynamic in a communiqué :
Neurable AI, integrated into M&D’s reference headset, ingests neural sensors that measure brain rhythm to improve this headset with human performance. They can help you identify periods of concentration, recognize subtle signs of stress and discover conditions for optimal mental well-being. These new possibilities are just the beginning, with several intriguing features already in the works for future products.
A high-end audio headset
In terms of audio characteristics, the MW75-Neuro should logically take on those of its big brother with 40 mm transducers, active noise reduction, battery life of up to 28 hours with noise reduction and support for SBC, AAC codecs. and aptX Adaptive.
The Master & Dynamic MW75-Neuro headset will be launched during the first quarter of 2024. It will be offered in four colors: navy blue, black, olive green and silver. At this time, we do not yet know at what price the headset will be offered. As an indication, the MW75 in classic version is already priced at 599 euros.
