Real Madrid are interested in American teenager Gabriel Slonina and a deal might be done soon.
The 18-year-old goalkeeper currently plays for MLS side Chicago Fire and is a United States U20 international.
Journalist Fabrizio Romano mentioned on May 30 that Madrid are interested in the youngster and now, a few days later, the player’s agent Jaime Garcia has spoken to the journalist regarding his hopes of securing a deal.

“We hope that Chicago can reach an agreement with Real Madrid to make Gabriel’s dream of playing for this club come true. He has worked very hard and is an incredible player and person,” Garcia said.
“As for other teams and other offers, we have received a lot and at the moment we are grateful to these clubs, but you can’t say no to Real Madrid.”
