This Friday the Clausura football championship starts

Asuncion, IP Agency.-The second tournament of the year of the Paraguayan Football Association will begin at the Arsenio Erico stadium of the Nacional club.

It will start at 6:30 p.m., with the match between the local team and Sportivo Trinidense with the refereeing of Juan Gabriel Benítez.

The tournament, which is called “Tribute to the 120th anniversary of Club Nacional”, will continue on Saturday and Sunday.

Between 1994 and 2024, Tricolor and Triki faced each other in 20 matches, with 7 wins for Nacional, 4 for Trinidense and 9 draws. As for the clashes that took place in the Apertura Tournament, in both, the Academia won (2-1 and 0-1).

As regards the clashes at the Arsenio Erico stadium, we find that both teams have played at La Visera 7 times from 1994 to the present, with four victories for Nacional, 1 for Trinidense and 2 draws, according to the APF.
