The new Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 raises the bar very high in the foldable smartphone market. It is also the most advanced and the most expensive of the Galaxy series. For context, the Galaxy Z are Samsung’s foldable smartphones. The Flips are the clamshell-style folding ones, they are smaller than the Folds, which are practically tablets that can be folded up to obtain a size similar to that of standard smartphones. With this 4th generation, Samsung brings a series of incremental but significant updates that we have analyzed and tested using our experience of previous Folds as well as our expertise on the competition.
