Taiwanese electric mobility player Gogoro has unveiled its new all-terrain electric scooter: the CrossOver GX250. Nicknamed the “two-wheeled SUV”, it stands out for its robust structure and integrated luggage racks, capable of carrying heavier loads.

To achieve this, it has implemented aggressive expansion programs in several countries around the world, responding to the needs and preferences of each market. In India, for example, Gogoro has introduced a new model called CrossOver GX250. This scooter is designed to cope with the rigors of the metropolis, but to tackle off-road.
This Gogoro electric scooter can handle off-road conditions
Although India is a major player in the motorcycle sector, the country is home to some of the most degraded roads in the world. This is why Gogoro has developed an electric scooter capable of crossing paved roads, potholes and even off-road.

The local population tends to use two-wheelers as a means of delivery. CrossOver has equipped its new all-terrain electric scooter with a additional cargo space. According to Gogoro, he can support up to 200 kg.
The introduction of a new attachment point expansion system, with 26 locking points, allows drivers to customize their storage options. A multitude of accessories are also available. Including luggage racks at the front and rear, as well as four integrated cargo compartments.
Technologically, the new CrossOver GX250 uses a 2.5 kilowatt direct drive electric motor. This gives it a top speed of more than 70 km/h and a certified real-world range of 110 km on a single charge.
The electric scooter also comes with a color display with smartphone connectivity, OTA updates, traction control and optional cruise control. Delivery of the first copies of this electric scooter is expected have second quarter 2024. Note that only a few delivery companies in Delhi and Goa are affected by this project.
