The Chevrolet Corsa It was one of the compact icons between the 90’s and the 2000s (at least in our region), but despite being a very competitive model, it was never noted for being very powerful or for achieving high speed figures.
However, the Corsa that you will see next will surprise you. We are talking regarding a 2007 variant (Classic) that incorporated a 5.7 V8 engine from a Corvette. The idea came from Luis Zschocke (Argentine), although he was helped by specialists and members of General Motors, as revealed by Motorpasión.
In relation to power, it has 490 CV, while the transmission is automatic with torque converter. All of these modifications helped this Corsa accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.8 seconds, and achieve a top speed of 315 km/h.
In addition, it incorporated structural changes, reinforced suspensions, larger wheels and tires, new interior indicators, roll cage, sports seats, added to cosmetic changes. See the images below.
