She was diagnosed with breast cancer at the height of her fame, as she was at that time married to her third Lebanese husband, but he abandoned her, and she spent all her money on treatment, and returned to Egypt and resorted to her ex-husband, “Kamal El-Shennawy”.

Where he was able to get her a decision on treatment at the expense of the state, and she traveled to Sweden and performed a successful surgery there, then she returned to Egypt, but her health deteriorated, then she traveled to London with the necessity of a surgery, so she had to work and intensify her artistic activity.

And when she traveled, she asked her Lebanese husband to accompany her, but he refused and took advantage of her illness to collect financial aid under the pretext of treating her. Health has become bad and there is no cure,

Indeed, she returned to Cairo and completed her role in the movie “Morsi Over Morsi Under”, but she might not complete it and the disease worsened, and she entered the Maadi Armed Forces Hospital, until she passed away on April 7, 1981, at the age of 39.
