A Canadian startup is creating a sensation at CES 2023 by exhibiting an ultramodern stroller capable, among other things, of moving independently in the street, but without the baby on board. This is undoubtedly one of the main curiosities of the world consumer electronics show, which is held in Las Vegas until Sunday, January 8.
Glüxkind Technologies has developed a stroller, called Ella, specially created to facilitate the daily life of new parents. It’s actually a smart stroller, able to adapt to its environment. Thanks to a pushing and braking assistance, it pushes for example without the slightest effort, whatever the type of terrain and the difference in altitude concerned.
Note that when the child is no longer in the stroller, it is then possible to select a walking mode called “hands-free”, so that the baby will be in the arms of his parents while Ella walks all the way alone next to them.

This is made possible by numerous sensors combined with artificial intelligence (in beta version) which immediately detect potential dangers such as cars, bicycles or scooters. In addition, the stroller stops rolling on its own when the user is too far away, out of reach to react in the event of a problem or simply to take a break.
And that’s not all, since Ella also has a “Rock-My-Baby” option that allows children to be rocked and put to sleep, once more on their own while parents go regarding other business.
This unique stroller is already available for pre-order in North America, for 3,800 dollars and the first deliveries are scheduled for July 2023.
