A few months before the highly anticipated launch of the next Apple Watch, rumors and designer concepts are rife. Among the most spectacular visions, German designer Lukas Gehrer’s “Apple Watch
As the launch of the next generation of Apple Watch approaches, scheduled for late 2024, the creators are unleashed to imagine what this future model might look like. Among the most ambitious concepts, the one developed by designer Lukas Gehrer from the German agency Wordsmattr stands out for its audacity and futurism.
Cutting-edge features
This concept called Apple Watch X takes up the angular lines of the current Apple Watch Ultra 2but with a slender silhouette at the curved contours. The originality lies above all in its titanium case tinted with an elegant anthracite shade, a first for the range. But beyond the design, these are the imagined features who call out.
According to the images revealed, Gehrer’s fictitious watch includes a camera dedicated to videoconferencing FaceTime, a technological feat never before seen on a connected watch. A blood pressure sensor also enriches health monitoring, a functionality this time more plausible, the addition of which is also regularly mentioned.
A stimulating source of inspiration
Although attractive on paper, the integration of a FaceTime camera is currently a matter of pure speculation. On the other hand, the arrival of a sensor measuring blood pressure as well as, why not, that of a blood sugar monitor looks realistic and would meet the expectations of a high-end smartwatch.
If the Cupertino company’s revelations should not go as far as Lukas Gehrer’s ultra-futuristic concept, it has the merit of fueling the excitement around this highly anticipated launch.
