People and royalty
A behavior that has caused a lot of ink to flow.
During his swearing-in, which went almost without a hitch this Saturday, the new King Charles III had many documents to sign to formalize his accession to the British throne following the death of his illustrious mother Elizabeth II.
In a video that has gone viral on social media, the new king of England can be seen showing his annoyance at staff who have not cleared the inkwell that is on the desk.

(“The servant must clear my desk for me. I cannot be expected to move things.”)
His hand gesture directed at an assistant and his attitude on a second video did not escape Internet users, who on Twitter were quick to see disdain and haughty behavior arousing mockery. We let you make up your own mind.
While signing an oath at the Accession Council, King Charles III ran out of room and gestured for an aide to help make some space on the desk. https://t.co/zRfXNO1crQ pic.twitter.com/Fl5Ge24EZY
