Despite the high temperatures, Thousands of Jujeños gathered at the Río Blanco Sanctuary and they participated in the third Sunday of the pilgrimage, where the morning mass was led by the Bishop of the prelature of Humahuaca, Félix Paredes Cruz, Father German Maccagno, priest in charge of the Sanctuary of Our Lady of the Rosary of Rio Blanco and Monsignor Pedro Olmedo.
With a special transmission, Channel 4 of Jujuy brought to every corner of the province what was experienced in tThird Sunday of pilgrimage to the Sanctuary of Río Blanco. Today was given main tribute to mothers in their day, a the sick and their familieswho massively and with corresponding efforts, participated and listened to the word of God with great emotion.

Third Sunday of Pilgrimage
“For peace, for health” were the words that abounded in the Sanctuary, which, from very early on, was filled with faithful and pilgrims who, with unwavering faith and accompanied by their affections, asked and thanked the patron saint of the province.
Many with canes, wheelchairs, lounge chairs, umbrellas, benches, the faithful came to receive the blessing and protection on this third Sunday despite the high temperatures, looking for different ways to cope with the heat and ailments, because today , the word of the gospel was especially addressed to those who are experiencing difficulties in their health and to mothers in their day.

“The best healing we can receive is spiritual, that is why hope is important,” said Monsignor Florencio Félix Paredes Cruz and invited all the faithful to “Experience the love of our mother, the Virgin Mary” and “receive the consolation of God, as one of the most intense, illuminating religious experiences that believers can experience.”
In a message to the sick, the monsignor said that “we must offer our pain, our sorrows to God.
And the best healing we can receive is spiritual, which is why hope is important. There is no better medicine than hope once morest the religious disease of false resignation.”
