The Mons police draw up a very positive assessment of the third evening of the ducasse, given the number of people attracted by the concert at the Grand-Place in Mons. Several artists were on the program: Antoine Delie, the Ykons group, Black M, Charlie Winston and Benabar. Despite the criticism, the concert drew crowds. This Friday evening, the Mons police were therefore present in large numbers.
For this third ducasse evening, the atmosphere was rather friendly and good-natured, specifies the Mons police. Although at 3 o’clock the climate became more electric. A few isolated altercations took place, the spirits were tipsy, but everything quickly returned to normal thanks to the rapid intervention of the police services.
“We have counted 43 arrests for public drunkenness and/or disturbing public order as well as 4 judicial arrests (persons reported)”, continues the police zone. Before adding: “Eight vehicles had to be removed. A few remarks were made to certain establishments, in particular concerning sound broadcasts. Otherwise, no particular fact is to be deplored.
