While the luxury and legacy of the Argo Parahyangan will be dearly missed, the Parahyangan promises a budget-friendly experience without compromising essential comforts.

While the specifics are still under wraps, KAI has already unveiled a key differentiator: the Parahyangan will offer both Economy and Executive class options. This blend of affordability and comfort aims to cater to a diverse range of travellers, making rail travel a viable option for various budgets and needs.

“Because we don’t only serve executives, but we make the services mixed. There is economy,” explained Anne,emphasizing the train’s focus on inclusivity.

Ayep hanapi, Public Relations Manager of KAI Daop 2 Bandung, echoed this sentiment, stressing the importance of comfort and punctuality. “Parahyangan train fares use the Lower Limit Tariff and Upper Limit Tariff guidelines, so that people can enjoy more affordable travel without reducing service quality,” he said.

Passengers can choose from these two classes: Executive and Economy. Executive class tickets will range from IDR 200,000 to IDR 250,000, while Economy class tickets will be priced at IDR 150,000.

Journey time is expected to be approximately 3 hours. With 10 daily trips, the Parahyangan Express will connect Gambir Station and Bandung Station, offering a seamless travel experience for everyone.
