A Cultured Code launched today a new version of its famous task management app, Things. Version 3.19 of the application harnesses the power of iOS/iPadOS 17 It’s from watchOS 10offering a set of unprecedented features on all Apple devices.

The big highlight of this new version is, without a doubt, the arrival of new widgets, optimized for users of iPhones, iPads and Apple Watches. Below, I leave more details regarding what’s new in the update:

Interactive widgets for iPhones and iPads: Users can now mark tasks directly from the Home screen, eliminating the need to open the app. As they are completed, the widget smoothly transitions to display the next one.

Lock Screen Widgets on iPad: Things also brought widgets to the iPads locked screen. This, according to Cultured Code, makes task management more intuitive and convenient.

Widgets para Apple Watch com Smart Stack: Things now supports widgets through Smart Sets (Smart Stacks). When activated, it will display the next three tasks.

Standby Mode for iPhones: com Things no modo StandBya task list will be displayed, with a red-on-black text display option for comfortable use in low-light conditions for quick reference for users.

All features are now available in the latest version of the app. Additionally, Things is gearing up for the release of macOS Sonoma 14, which will support widgets on the desktop, making the experience unified and seamless.

It is worth remembering that the difference with Things is that, to use it, a subscription is not required. On the other hand, as it is a paid app, you have to pay individually for the versions, which cost R$50 for iPhones, R$100 for iPads e R$250 for Macs.
