UP TO 60% REGENERATED RAW MATERIALS
This stretch film called ECOW’REG is regenerated because it is made with, depending on the references, between 30 and 60% recycled materials from recycling circuits. This film is part of a circular economy.
Its composition allows customers to be exempt from certain taxes when they export to certain countries with restrictive environmental regulations.
WITHOUT CHUCK, THEREFORE WITHOUT WASTE
In addition, and once more unlike what the competition offers, this stretch film is coreless (cardboard on which the film is rolled).
Another advantage, thanks to the reduction in the volume of waste. It allows the reduction of recycling costs.
It should also be noted that the absence of a mandrel allows the film to be used to the last meter, with savings over time for large consumers.
A LOW CARBON FOOTPRINT
If we compare the water and energy carbon footprint between a standard 20 micron film and its equivalent in the ECOW’REG range, the figures are clear:
– carbon footprint: less 1,615 kg of CO2/pallet;
– water footprint: minus 4,985 liters of water/pallet;
– energy footprint: less 2,571 Gj/pallet.
AN ECONOMIC FILM
ECOW’REG stretch film can be used both manually to wrap pallets, as it is very light, but also on machines with or without pre-stretching unit. In this way it is possible to cover all uses.
All these cumulative advantages allow a net reduction of the film budget.
