Dominic Thiem will be back at the Masters 1000 tournament in Indian Wells for the first time since 2019 on Friday night (3 a.m.). Four years ago, the 29-year-old from Lower Austria beat Roger Federer in the final and celebrated the biggest title win of his career in the US state of California. This time he is in the main draw with a wildcard and sees some parallels to the 2019 triumph.
