He thus noticed that he had progressed in rhythm (51, “I’m getting younger”) and passing (74), while remaining at the same level for shooting (54) and dribbling (72). He also maintained the same high rating for his defensive qualities (87) but was upset when he learned that he had regressed from a physical point of view (74, compared to 76 in 2023).
The former Parisian then thought he would benefit from an overall average at the same level as last season, or even a little higher. “In view of the points I just talked regarding, I think I remain at the same level. Or even higher because I have more grades that have increased than decreased, right?”
The editors decided otherwise by giving it an overall score of 84, compared to 86 in 2023.
“They don’t watch the matches, they watch them like that,” he said, hiding his eyes.
Thiago Silva can be reassured in real life since he is still an indisputable starter in Chelsea’s defense despite his team’s poor start to the season (one victory, one draw, two defeats).
