After his experience inside the house of Big Brother, Thiago Medina opened a greengrocer in the Buenos Aires town of Laferrere and was visited by some of his former colleagues.
Alexis “Rabbit” Quiroga and Romina Uhrig they came to the store on opening day to support the 19-year-old who used to work at the Central Market.
“My mom before she died told me: ‘shame is going out to steal’. I listened to him and never went out to steal ”, expressed Thiago, excited.
The former Big Brother participant acknowledged that he could “fulfill a dream” and he also said that Alexis wanted to help him financially. “The Cone wanted to help me, I took it back, but I preferred to do it only by my side ”.
“Big Brother changed my life in many things. Now I can help my brothers, I can buy whatever I want: if I want some shoes, I have to buy them and I don’t have to be killing myself working 12, 15 hours, they pay me little coins, “he commented on his experience in reality.
“It also opened my mind. Before they told me to leave my house, rent something, and I would answer: ‘Not crazy’, because of my brothers. But now I know that they can survive without me, and I decided to leave, to live alone for a while, to get ahead”he added.
About his ex-partner Romina he assured: “I am very happy because I know that I loved him very much, I wanted him very much, as well as the house, and I wish him the best of successes”.
For his part, Alexis stated: “I had no doubt that I was going to make it, everything has its time, and now to undertake something that belongs to him and the family ”.
