His Highness Sheikh Theyab bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, member of the Executive Council of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, and Abdul Moneim Al Hashemi, President of the UAE and Asian Federation, were crowned First Vice President of the International Ju-Jitsu Federation, in the presence of His Excellency Dr. Thani bin Ahmed Al-Zeyoudi, Minister of State for Foreign Trade, and Mohamed Salem Al-Dhaheri, Vice President of the Federation Fahad Ali Al Shamsi, Secretary-General of the Federation, Tariq Al-Bahri, Director General of the Abu Dhabi Professional Ju-Jitsu Association, representatives of local and international ju-jitsu academies, representatives of the embassies of the countries of the participating players, sponsors and strategic partners of the Ju-Jitsu Federation. For his part, Tariq Al-Bahri, Director General of the Abu Dhabi Professional Jiu-Jitsu Association, congratulated the award winners, pointing out that reaching the podium is the reward they deserve for their efforts throughout the season. They scored the highest points according to the league classification.
He added: Winning the Abu Dhabi World Ju-Jitsu Award means that the winners were able to outperform the thousands of players listed in the association, and they were able to be the best over the course of a full season, and they succeeded in running for this honor, and the champions went through many challenges and moments of joy, sadness, anticipation, doubt, hope and fear. The ceremony began with the coronation of the best Emirati male player for the purple belt category, which was won by Sultan Al Hosani, and the player Shamma Al Kalbani won the award for the best Emirati player for the purple belt, and within the brown belt competition for the best Emirati male player, Khaled Al Shehhi won, and the player Wadima Al Yafei won the best Emirati player for the belt brown/black.
The award for the best Emirati player for the black belt for teachers was won by Saud Al-Hammadi, and the award for the best Emirati player for the black belt category went to player Zayed Al-Kathiri.
The Commando Group Academy won the award for the best Emirati Ju-Jitsu club, and the Kazakh Federation won the Best Asian Ju-Jitsu Federation award. After fierce competition with its counterparts all over the world, the Commando Group Academy won the Best International Ju-Jitsu Academy award.
At the level of international awards for the best players, the player Catuysia Yasmira Diaz won the award for the best African Jiu-Jitsu player, the award for the best player in the Oceania region was won by Anton Menenko, the award for the best European player went to the player Rose Charouni, and the player Alexa Yans won the award for the best player from Central America And the North, and won the award for the best player from South America, Julia Alves, and the player Zayed Al Kathiri won the award for the best Asian player.
