According to a report from OrienteseTV, one of those killed in these clashes would be known as Alias ”Zeus”, a former military man who had evaded capture after escaping from a police station in Cúcuta a few months ago. His death represents a significant blow to the self-styled EGC, also known as the Gulf Clan, which has been under constant pressure from the authorities.
Additional operations are expected to be carried out in the area to restore order and ensure the safety of the inhabitants of Aquitaine.

The retired Army major, Juan Carlos Rodríguez, escaped from a police station in the center of Cúcuta on April 21, after being apprehended 10 days earlier with a “war arsenal.”
