They wish to make the performances of the LGBT choir “Rīgas Queer Choir” a part of the Tune Pageant

“Having efficiently accomplished the primary season of existence, the members of the one LGBT+ choir in Latvia – “Rīgas Queer Choir” – are decided to start the second season within the fall of 2024 with the inclusion of the choir within the Riga Choir.

Official inclusion within the choir will give the choir the chance to take part in concert events and competitions, Tune and Dance Festivals, in addition to the chance to obtain co-financing from the native authorities to cowl the prices of sustaining the choir. All of those points are basic to the long-term survival of the choir, because the choir at present lives on donations, token membership charges, in addition to the generosity of the individuals. All that is good, however we need to be on par with different choirs and to be assured in the way forward for the collective.
