The beneficiaries will be obliged to carry out work compensation and undergo training, under the guidelines defined by the Undersecretary of Employment Promotion and Vocational Training, which was in charge of Juliet Cuevas.

Yesterday the minister indicated that, in the internal audit they carried out of the programs, it was identified that the 80% of those who receive these direct transfers are young people, between 18 and 35 years old. “In many of these cases, they are people who have never had a job and that is why we have to work to achieve that long-awaited first job for each of them,” said Castelli in dialogue with BLACK RIVER RADIO.

Gutiérrez’s last decrees

As Castelli told this newspaper, In the capital alone there are around 12,000 beneficiarieswhile Centenario and Plottier have regarding 3,000 each. In these two cities the survey will continue next week.

There is currently an investigation underway into the mega-cause of scams with social plans that developed during the government of Omar Gutiérrez, and for which the former Minister of Social Development, Abel Di Luca, among other officials in that area, is accused.

The maneuvers under investigation were carried out precisely with the deviation of these two social plans that now they will seek to cancel them to replace them with a new program.

In December, before leaving the government, Gutiérrez signed two decrees to allocate the amounts of both plans corresponding to the month: for unemployment subsidy allocated 146.4 million pesos and set a maximum of 5,953 beneficiaries, while for the temporary social subsidy established a sum of 220.7 million pesos to assist a maximum of 16,032 beneficiaries.

The Figueroa government did not extend or update these amounts, pending the launch of the new program next month.
