After almost 8 years that the nullity of the law that promoted the municipalization of Las Grutas was declared There will be a new attempt to try to split the spa from the rest of the San Antonio Oeste ejido, through the presentation of a project that will be brought to the Legislature by provincial deputy Claudio Doctorovich, of the block Pro-Republican Union.

The news was shared by one of the members of the permanent commission for the municipalization of the spa, Noelia Vázquez, who, in dialogue with Río Negro Radio, referred to the issue and called a meeting in which details of the initiative will be provided.

“We are inviting the neighbors this Monday at 8 p.m., at the Casa de Nazareth facilities (located on Jacobacci and San Antonio streets), because we will talk to them regarding the topic. that will reach the Legislature in the month of March. Furthermore we want launch a meeting of signatures, taking advantage of the fact that tourists who visit us will also be able to contribute their signature”said the municipal manager.

The woman gave her opinion regarding the project with enthusiasm, because she mentioned that It is “superior”, when compared to the last one that was presented.

“We consulted similar legislation and expanded it. We incorporate things for our municipal and legal regime. For example the figure of the auditor, who would help in the administrative reorganization in times of transition, something that the previous one did not foresee. A deadline is also set for the so-called (communal) elections, once the split is already set,” he explained.

Regarding possible support from other legislators, she was cautious. “I don’t know if they are going to support us. We know that they can tell us no, but that doesn’t mean we stop trying. We will try to convince each one that we have the right to self-determination, and if it doesn’t work we will try once more until we achieve it,” he hoped.

He acknowledged that the majority of the area’s representatives are once morest the idea. “Fernando Frugoni (Ari Civic Coalition) and Marcela Rossio (Together We Are Black River) reject it. But Louis Noale (JSRN), I thought the same thing before, now left the door open, because when he was consulted he said that we had to “listen to the majorities,” said Vázquez.

It is worth remembering that The last project that was discussed at the venue was authored by Marilin Gemignani (JSRN). It happened in 2015, and was approved within the framework of a controversial vote. But, before the call for a referendum was made, the issue was brought to justice. And two years later, In March 2017, the Superior Court of Justice (STJ) determined that the procedure was irregular, since the necessary two-thirds were not available to create a new municipality. The law was void.

Now, they would try the split once more.
