The place was totally destroyed by the vandals.
The Los Angeles (California) police published images of the looting and destruction of a store by dozens of vandals during an alleged ‘flashmob’.
The events occurred at a local chain 7-Eleven. A crowd invaded the store, taking its staff and some customers by surprise. The looters went through the corridors grabbing everything they might as they went, while some attacked the workers of the establishment by throwing objects at them.
In addition, several people entered the box area to take or distribute the items that were there. After “destroying” the business, the vandals simultaneously left the premises and dispersed before law enforcement arrived, police said in a statement.
“Opportunistic criminal incidents”
Shortly before, all the access streets to the area were blocked by cars to carry out an illegal exhibition of automobile maneuvers. After that demo was over, viewers undertook the looting ‘flashmob’.
“Lately the ‘flashmobs’ have ceased to be fun spontaneous events to become opportunistic criminal incidents,” laments the police force, asking for the collaboration of the community to try to identify those responsible for the destruction of the store.
