Ewa Bukowska celebrates her 58th birthday. The actress has had a turbulent relationship that ended in divorce. “I saw it, I felt unhappy in it, but I had to hit a wall to change it,” she said in an interview with the “Uroda Życia” magazine. Ewa Bukowska is a Polish film and theatre actress. She was born on 27 August 1966 in Aleksandrów Kujawski. In 1992 she graduated from the State Higher School of Theatre in Kraków.
She made her big-screen debut while still a student. She starred alongside Bogusław Linda and Olaf Lubaszenko in the film “Kroll” directed by Władysław Pasikowski, which premiered in 1991. The 25-year-old student played Agata, the film wife of Marcin Kroll.

The actress, as she later admitted, lived in the shadow of her husband for a long time, who enjoyed increasing popularity. Marek Bukowski appeared in popular films and series, and also shone at industry events, and in the corridors there were gossips about problems in the Bukowskis’ relationship.

They were together for almost 20 years. Over time, Ewa Bukowska began to speak openly about her marriage. She told how her ex-husband treated her. She didn’t mince her words.
– He built a cage, threw a net. I wrapped myself tightly in that net. It’s very difficult to get out of such a situation. Very. I had to lose consciousness from lack of air so that after waking up I could cut it – she confessed in “Elle”.
In the conversation, she confessed that she felt trapped and limited. – There was a war. I was never free (…) – added Ewa Bukowska.
