Uniformed members of the Bolivarian National Guard (GNB) dismantled the criminal group “Los Guayaneses”, allegedly dedicated to the trafficking and sale of narcotics in the south of Bolívar state.
They captured three subjects when they were traveling along trunk 10 – from San Félix to Upata – in a vehicle, where they were transporting a 109-gram package with presumed marijuana inside the car’s air purifying box.
The detainees were identified as members of the criminal gang, reported the GNB.
The operation was carried out by troops attached to detachment number 625, in conjunction with the Anti-drug Immediate Reaction Unit (Uria 62) during patrol work at the Palo Grande Citizen Service Point.
They seized three cell phones, cash, and an electronic scale.
