A couple was arrested this Friday morning accused of stealing 72 one-liter boxes of wine from a beverage warehouse in the Alta Córdoba neighborhood of this Capital, according to police sources.
The owner (33) of the warehouse located at Santa Fe 2840 said that the thieves entered the place, which was without security measures, and stole the boxes of wine.
Arrested and attacked by neighbors
Subsequently, a 32-year-old suspect (with a criminal record) and the 36-year-old woman were arrested in Góngora and railway tracks, in Villa El Nilon. 72 one-liter boxes, a bag and three backpacks were seized.
When they were detained, a group of people from the settlement threw blunt elements at the patrol cars and even tried to attack the officers, so one of them fired shots with his non-lethal shotgun, managing to deter the misfits.
There were no injuries.
