Bolt claims that the changes were necessary in order to increase the number of couriers accepting orders from distant areas.
The couriers themselves said that following the tariff change, their earnings decreased.
“Revenues have dropped significantly. The promised coefficients, with which the income is higher, work at best 2 hours a day. Double orders generally reduce income – for the second I received only 0.40 euros more. Most of the day it is impossible to collect the minimum wage,” the courier writes.
“The most interesting thing is out-of-town orders, when following delivery you are not even in the area where you can receive the order. I have to travel 10 km towards the city at my own expense,” said a man in the group.
“The basic salary has decreased from 1.60 euros + 0.40 euros per kilometer to 1.25 euros + 0.35 euros/km,” the courier calculated.
Another man wrote that according to current calculations, wages have dropped sharply.
“I’ve been delivering groceries on an electric bike for a little over a year. Previously, I worked 6 hours (3 hours in the morning and 3 hours in the evening) and received 40-60 euros freely. After the first tariff change, I had to work 9 hours to collect the same amount.
I used to get a stable income of 20-30 euros in the evenings following three hours of work, before taxes and expenses, but now, following four hours of work, it is between 10 and 20 euros,” he says.
