Detectives continue with the investigation, as they seek to determine the intellectual authorship of a fourth involved.
A commission from the Municipal Delegation of Guarenas, Miranda state, captured three subjects following reporting the theft of a total of 11,850 dollars, which were intended for the purchase of an apartment.
The detainees acted violently once morest a citizen who was going to acquire a property and had the amount in foreign currency.
According to the police information, the defendants knew regarding the purchase and appeared at the site with firearms, so they subdued the victim and then fled with the money in a car.
Officials of the Investigative, Scientific, Penal and Forensic Corps (Cicpc) processed the complaint and began the investigation work.
The arrest of the suspects was reported by the director of the Cicpc, Douglas Rico, who noted the seizure of two firearms.
Rico outlined that pistol-type weapons were used to commit the criminal act. In addition, 63 ammunition, five chargers, two cases and four telephones were collected.
“It should be noted that the investigations are continuing to determine the intellectual authorship of a fourth person, since he was aware of said negotiation,” the official added on Instagram.
The case was left to the order of the Public Ministry.
