Coppel is currently one of the most popular and preferred brands among Mexican consumers.
“Buying with the minimum wage in Coppel” is one of the “challenges” that the tiktoker known as Soy Mirrey has prepared as part of his line of content and, of course, to continue positioning himself in an increasingly competitive market.
2023 has been considered an important year for a large number of workers in Latin America, who will suffer a considerable readjustment in the minimum wage and Mexico, of course, is not out of this picture.
Put in a way, “optimism” is a word that is frequently used at various times of the year and, more especially, when a new one is regarding to start, in addition to the fact that, for the last three years, it has been one of those most relevant concepts in people’s vocabulary. And it is that, since 2020, times have been complicated, dominated, to a large extent, by uncertainty due to the pandemic, the war in Ukraine, inflation and the rise in prices, etc.
In that sense, a recent survey conducted by Ipsos shows that 65 percent of the people surveyed say they feel “optimistic” that 2023 will be better than 2022.
In more detail regarding what Ipsos exposes, Mexico and Brazil are the countries with the highest percentage of people who have said they feel more positive with respect to 2023. To be more exact, of the 32 countries surveyed, these two rank first, with 85 percent of respondents feeling more optimistic for this year.
They show what you can buy in Coppel with seven days of minimum wage
Since December 2022, it was announced that, in Mexico, there will be a 20 percent increase in the minimum wage, this being one of the most relevant issues for the administration of Andrés Manuel López Obrador (AMLO).
Thus, as of January 1, the minimum wage in Mexico went from 172 pesos a day (regarding 8.6 dollars) to 207 pesos (that is, regarding 10.35 dollars), this in accordance with the National Commission of Minimum Wages (CONASAMI)an initiative that, moreover, was defined unanimously, in consensus between the business sector, the labor sector and the Government.
However, derived from said announcement, the occasion has also served for a significant number of creators to create their own content in order to join the trend and, with it, gain an audience through their different channels.
Probably the one who has been noticed the most is the tiktoker Carlo Bello, better known as “I’m Mirrey”, who recently announced -in a video that has since been deleted- that, for a short period, he would live on the minimum wage and, in addition , you would be able to invest your money and make it grow.
It is so that, like this line of contents, the influencer visited a Coppel store where he announced what, supposedly, consumers can buy with a budget of seven days of minimum wage, that is, 1,449 pesos.

Everything indicates that, for the next few years, the scenario for those who want to become creators -and make a living from it- looks, on the one hand, quite interesting, although with great competition in the market, because, in the end, Internet users seem have their influencers favorites.
