they robbed, tied up and tried to kidnap a child

Agustín, victim of a violent robbery in the Cordoba town of Villa General Belgrano, told how two criminals tied up his family to take money and he described the hell he experienced when they tried to kidnap his son, in his own home. “My son told me that if he had been untied he would have helped me, thank God he was tied up and no other consequences had to be faced,” he said.

The drama began on Friday morning, when two armed criminals entered the house where the family business also works. “They reduced us, I gave them everything they had available, I gave them the possibility to take the vehicles, I remained calm, I never tried to play the hero”recounted Agustín, 39, in dialogue with C5N.

“I told them that they were young boys, that they should not ruin their lives, that we had to and that I would put up with it,” he said. However, the thieves did not stop and went for more. “They did not have precise data because what they claimed was very far from reality”indicated the victim.

«I gave them everything and they wanted more, but I had no more money. They told my wife that since I didn’t give them everything they were going to take one of my children. They loaded him up and took him away.”he explained, still pierced by the horror experienced.

At that moment, the man discovered that he was untied. «I go out looking for my son, I took his gun. I intercepted the one my son was carrying, he let go and stayed there to one side, while Laura, the girl who accompanies us, alerted the Police“, he pointed.

«It was 20 minutes of nightmare. I honestly don’t know how I got out of the seals and how I reacted like this. In a moment, on the floor, lI took the gun from one of them, unintentionally unlocked it and shot him to the ground, that is, the weapon was operational”, Augustine said.

The criminals tried to flee, but one of them, the one who had the stolen belongings, was arrested. According to Agustín, “they had support from outside, inside my house they communicated hands-free.”

Beyond the fact that no one was hurt and they were able to recover what was stolen, The victim highlighted “the damage they caused us, citizens of a town as quiet as this one, with 15,000 inhabitants, which is sold as a wasteland”.

“We are calling for a march, a peaceful claim, the merchants give a lot to the people and we hope that the people give us back”, said Agustín, who had his house robbed three times in the last three years, “always in summer.” However, he had never been so violent as on this occasion.
