The Risaralda Sectional Red Cross, is an institution that during its 49 years of presence in the Department has been characterized by working in favor of the most vulnerable communities, reaching throughout the entire Risaraldense territory, to generate humanitarian actions that promote resilience of people and contribute to their well-being.
Within the framework of the emergency presented by the avalanche of the San Juan River, the Risaralda Sectional Red Cross traveled to the municipality of Mistrató, to deliver 501 Humanitarian Aids, in Canchivare Bajo, where Food Kits were provided for the communities Indigenous people located in the villages of: Alto Bonito, Alto Canchivare, Bajo Humacas, El Socorro, Bajo Canchivare, Esperanza, among others.
