Visit to Mrs. Soler, edited and prologue by Anna Maria Villalonga, is one of Manuel de Pedrolo’s “lost novels”, which has remained unpublished until now. The publishing house Fonoll publishes the work which, as its editorial coordinator, Anna Pérez Mir, points out, shows a Pedrolo who “places in the same plane of the man as the woman, speaks openly of female sexuality, of the vindication of bodies, enjoyment and pleasure ».
Pérez Mir states that Visita a la senyora Soler, which was censored in 1971, is one of the highlights of the Sant Jordi publishing house. “Having a Pedrolo consolidates our narrative collection, where we publish authors from the West and other authors of world narrative,” he adds.
