The events of “Obi-Wan Kenobi” will be set a decade following the events of the 2005 film “Revenge of the Sith.”
After the premiere of the trailer for Obi-Wan Kenobi, Disney+ released the first image of Hayden Christensen What Darth Vader in the series of the legendary Jedi master whom he will embody once more Ewan McGregor.

In the image you can see Vader showing off his imposing presence and clad in his characteristic armor. Wrapped in smoke, the Lord Sith he is shown regarding to emerge from his meditation chamber where he dives to, in addition to healing his afflicted battle wounds, meditate and learn in the dark side of the Force.
The events of Obi-Wan Kenobi will be set a decade following the events recounted in the 2005 film, Revenge of the Sith and it will be the reunion between the former Jedi master and his former pupil following giving himself completely to the dark side of The Force.
In addition to McGregor and Christensen, it will star Joel Edgerton as Owen Lars, Luke Skywalker’s uncle, and Bonnie Piesse as Beru Whitesin Lars, Owen’s wife and Luke’s aunt. Directed by Deborah Chow and written by Joby Harold, Obi-Wan Kenobi will be released on May 25.
