Assumption, IP.- The Misiones Regional Expanded Immunization Program (PAI) is dedicated to training the personnel responsible for said program in the different health services of the VIII Health Region – Misiones. It is planned to identify weaknesses and threats by territory, in addition to carrying out micro-planning for the 2015 vaccination campaign.
This Wednesday, officials from the services of San Juan Bautista, San Miguel, Villa Florida and Santa María Misiones were trained.
The day was led by the regional manager of the Program, Marina Montiel, who stated that the beginning of the Action Plan for the first half of the year will be to carry out a population census to measure and expand coverage of the regular vaccination campaign.
He added that all services in the region have vaccines for travelers, who are recommended to come and be immunized at least 30 days before the planned trip.
In turn, it urges parents to bring their children to complete the doses of the regular vaccination schedule, available free of charge in all services in the country.
